Ever since 2008’s Iron Man, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has steadily grown and grown.
Initially only featuring like Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, Black Widow and Hulk, the cinematic universe now includes a wide variety of characters from the Guardians of the Galaxy to Black Panther and Doctor Strange.
Now, all of those characters are set to star in the same movie.
That movie would be the highly-anticipated Avengers: Infinity War. The film, which will bring the long-teased Thanos into the picture for the first time, is just under a week away from release. It will open in theaters on Friday, April 27, 2018.
Marvel Studios has had a strong track record with its vast film slate so far, so it wouldn’t exactly be a surprise if Avengers: Infinity War is once again a hit with audiences around the globe.
Arguably the most anticipated movie of the year, Infinity War was directed by brothers Joe and Anthony Russo. The duo certainly have a strong track record after helming 2014’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier and 2016’s Captain America: Civil War.
As the movie gets closer to being released, the question now becomes, when will the review embargo be lifted?
Social media reviews will be able to be posted at 10:30 p.m. Pacific Time on Monday, April 23. More traditional reviews can hit the internet starting at 3:00 p.m. Pacific Time on Tuesday, April 24.
Featuring one of the more lengthy and prominent cast lists in recent memory, Avengers: Infinity War will hit theaters around the country on Friday. As per most big releases, there will be Thursday-night screenings as well.
